In 2005, a 21-year-old entrepreneur with an interest in commerce and merchandising became intrigued with the idea of operating a wholesale store In Cyprus. Anatolis Mavrangelides believed he could offer his customers a variety of high-quality products of good value from all over Eastern Europe. Growing up in a family of repatriates, he understood the value of this idea for all emigrants living in Cyprus.
Right from the start, he had a well-developed philosophy of what his company would be and how it would operate, a philosophy from which he and his management team have never strayed. The concept is a simple one, “the customers are the boss, and you need to keep them happy.”
But he would have to persist for many years before his dream would materialize. On the way to his goal, he opens a tiny warehouse in a small basement and begins his journey in business.

The company had an exponential growth throughout the years through leading the market of Eastern Europeans goods in Cyprus. With over 100 customers including large retail supermarkets and other small and large businesses, the company after months of planning and an exciting but also exhausting construction phase, moved to a new warehouse on April 2018.
A grand opening ceremony of a new big commercial and industrial facility – the wholesale warehouse of the Monolith Cyprus LTD in the industrial zone of Paphos, Agia Varvara took place on Friday, 13 April 2018. The ceremony was attended by the President of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiades, the Mayor of Paphos Fedonas Fedonos, the Prosecutor of Paphos Mary Lambrou, and deputies of the Parliament of Cyprus.
The new warehouse facilitated a much larger storage area, higher quality equipment and storage facilities and new offices with state of art equipment.
